The COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 prompted WH&Y to transform a long-standing monthly meeting of adolescent health researchers at Westmead Hospital, into a webinar series. 

 

Friday supported the initiative by sourcing and setting up an appropriate webinar platform, producing the necessary assets and participant guides, and managing promotional email communications. Recordings and transcripts of webinars are housed in the WH&Y Community of Practice. 

The series has seen a three-fold increase in attendees. Featured guests have included Professor Maree Teesson with her presentation on Less​​ons to be learned: Trends of the mental health of adolescents in community, and film industry veteran Martin Brown talking about his ground-breaking VR Bodyswap research.
